Volunteer Opportunities
Cannon River Watershed Partnership always needs dedicated volunteers to assist us in our work to protect the watershed. Volunteers can strengthen CRWP in these ways:
Public Relations
Share information about CRWP at the following events:

Become a part of our team of 13 citizen volunteers and 12 government appointed board members. Read a board member's job description and/or apply for yourself!
Citizen Stream and Lake Monitoring
Help monitor and protect the water resources of the Cannon River watershed; read more on the citizen monitoring project page.
Fundraising
Help CRWP raise much needed funds to support general fund activities such as responding to citizen concerns, providing educational presentations and programs.

Office Volunteer
Join us in our cozy farm office and assist staff by stuffing, folding and labeling mailings. And if file organization floats your boat we’ve got a job for you! Click here for directions to our office in Northfield.
Information distribution:
Voices of the Valley on the Cannon River Trail: Represent CRWP on the trail by displaying information and sharing our mission with trail visitors. CRWP along with other organizations will be on the trail on Saturdays from June through September between 11AM and 2PM. Special opportunities include Natural Resources Day on May 1st and the dedication of the “Donation Wall” (date to be determined).
- Distribute CRWP brochures and event posters in your community at local coffee shops, community centers, banks, libraries, etc.
- Consider giving a talk about the Cannon River watershed to interested citizens in your town.
